Friends of Graham Sutherland Collection
Graham Sutherland left a collection of his work to the people of Pembrokeshire and stipulated that the paintings should be seen in the place which had inspired them. Oriel y Parc will be the home of this collection – pieces will be displayed to fit in with the gallery’s themed exhibition. Presently, one of his works is exhibited as part of Brendan Stuart Burns exhibition - 'Influere'.
‘The Friends of Graham Sutherland' is an organisation which sets out to perpetuate the memory of the artist and his achievements as a major figure within twentieth century European art, and ensure that the identity of this collection and its links with Pembrokeshire remain intact.
