Getting Out and About

Getting to Pembrokeshire by public transport

Getting into Pembrokeshire by train, coach or ferry is straightforward and once you are here, travel by local buses is easy. At the bottom of the page there are more links to relevant websites to help you plan your journey or click on the embedded links in the text.

Getting around Pembrokeshire by public transport

We have an excellent network of buses which run between every town in the county six days a week. Getting to the coast and to the more popular countryside areas by bus is simple but some rural locations have less frequent services.

The train service in Pembrokeshire also operates between towns and we have a list of walks you can do from each railway station. Visit Pembrokeshire Greenways to find out more.

Pembrokeshire Coastal ‘Walkers’ Bus

Our coastal buses travel up and down the National Park coastline from St Dogmaels to Amroth. This means you don’t have to retrace your steps when walking the Path.

 Boat buses at St Justinians

‘Boat-Bus’ shuttle buses run between St Davids and St Justinians to enable visitors to reach one of the most beautiful and remote parts of the National Park without a car. St Justinians, with its spectacular setting, is the departure point for Ramsey Island.
